Troubleshoot
I was having trouble setting up my electronic refund. The representative was very patient and helpful on the phone. She was willing to wait and troubleshoot the issues till we figure it out, even though it took us 30 something minutes.

I would not recommend Trupanion as they…
I would not recommend Trupanion as they mislead me and don’t cover a large portion of my animals needs. The company will find a way to justify their decisions with simply saying “due to policy” and refuse to take responsibility for their poor service. Aside from this my deductible has been on a steady increase each year to where this year it became unaffordable at its current deductible, I explained this to Trupanion and no support was given other than “raise your deductible”. I then had to raise my deductible to $1000 instead of my original $250 just so that it was affordable. After doing this, I check my bank statement and see that Trupanion still charged me what they had quoted for the new $250 deductible (which was increased again because I moved one neighbourhood over within the same quadrant of my city and was still with the same vet clinic…). This charge was double what I was quoted when calling to raise my deductible to $1000 so I called Trupanion. Their response was that due to the dates I made these decisions they charged me as if I still had a $250 deductible. There are additional frustrations looped into this but overall, Trupanion did not inform me with the correct information in regards to billing and has taken no responsibility or offered compensation for being charged double the monthly cost I had been informed I would be paying. This unexpected higher bill has impacted my finances and Trupanion has offered no support in this matter.

SLOW REIMBURSMENT
Pets best is great if you don’t need to be reimbursed quick..They are extremely slow at reimbursing you your money back..I use to be with Pumpkin insurance and the money would be in your account in 2 days..This is already hard for people to pay the insurance but to not get our money back for almost 2 weeks is ridiculous..
