full on scammers, got reimbursed a big 'ol ZERO at the very first claim. left similar reviews on other sites and got the usual copied and pasted scam response stating that they have left a message to resolve it but of course there is no message stay well away and read all the bad reviews for yourself, they are all true

Beware, they jack up the rates.
Although pleased with my first experience of getting a quote and becoming a new customer, wait till you make a change like a new car. The rate skyrocketed. Getting customer service was a nightmare. They never admitted a mistake despite me showing other quotes $180 less per month. Stay away. Far away. What is more ridiculous than their prices being 290% higher than reputable places like Aviva, is the response I have received from them on Twitter and this review site. Your price went up because you changed cars, well yes, but my price went WAY up and it 290% HIGHER than reputable companies like Aviva. Stay away, the moment you change anything on your policy they hike the rates.

Taking time for policyholders
Today I would like to thank Nicky for answering all of my questions and more on several of my recent claims. She was kind and professional and explained everything to me and left nothing out. When I got off the phone I had a clear understanding of what was covered and she also took the time with me that I needed to truly understand the claim process. I told her I was new at this And she said that it was fine and she would walk me through it. I can’t say enough good words about AKC.

Always prompt, caring and a pleasure.
After owning a previous cat who contracted cancer and ultimately died (after we spent $10,000 out of pocket), when we were offered Trupanion for our subsequent cats, we knew we couldn't be without insurance. Since obtaining Trupanion, we've had several claims (thankfully nothing too serious) and our claims have always been met promptly. In fact, I've recommended Trupanion to friends.

Understanding and helpful claim agents
I submitted a claim for my pets vestibular disease over a month after getting it sorted and they had no problem with the claim being delayed. After submitting the claim for the first appointment I was able to submit the next five appointments over email and had they whole claim processed in under a week. The agent I worked with was helpful and caring and made sure that my claim was processed quickly and efficiently.
