Discontinuation of Wellness Coverage for Pets
I am very disappointed that Nationwide has made the unfortunate decision to no longer offer wellness coverage for their exotic health insurance. As a bird owner, wellness doctor visits are vital to ensure the good health of birds. This is an awful awful decision.

Super pleased
Super pleased! I spent literal weeks researching basically every company and was completely overwhelmed. Ultimately, I decided to go with ManyPets for my two new kittens, Lux and Boy. Boy went to the vet one week ago for his next vaccine and a general check up since leaving the shelter. We did a fecal and his fecal came back positive for roundworm and hookworm. I wasn’t sure any of this would be covered but I decided to submit it anyway so that st the very least, they would begin to compile his complete medical history. I submitted the documents on a Tuesday afternoon. Today, Thursday, around 2:30p, I got an email that my claim was approved! I was genuinely shocked - I didn’t expect to hear back so quickly or honestly that they would approve anything. They ended up covering everything but the cost of his vaccine. Of course, I had a deductible, so I will ultimately only be getting about $13 back, but now I know for the rest of this policy year, his deductible has been met and my reimbursement will kick in. Now, some negatives, which is why I removed one star. There is no app, which isn’t very convenient. You have to do everything on your computer or on the mobile website. Once you submit the claim, although you do get an email confirmation, it doesn’t show anywhere on your account page. Now that my claim has been approved, it still is nowhere on my account. The explanation of benefits they send is helpful as an overview, but it doesn’t really detail why things were rejected. IE $37 of my bill wasn’t covered, but instead of saying specifically why, it just said it wasn’t covered for one of the below reasons, and listed said reasons. I knew what it was so no big deal, but I can imagine for lengthier bills, that section should be a little more robust. I also wish there was an option to pay the full year up front. All that said, I’m feeling very happy with my choice to go with ManyPets. My friend already signed her dog up, too!

Complete waste of money
Complete waste of money, I have been paying $100 a month for the last 5 months only to find out that literally nothing is covered that I need, I only signed up for this because it said dental wellness was included. After wasting $500 over the last 5 months I was told that dental cleanings are not included in dental wellness and that in fact nothing preventative is included which is the whole point of insurance is to PREVENT. They will only cover preventative if you pay an additional fee to their rewards program. don’t waste your time or money

Health Paws pet insurance covered my cat for 2 expensive surgeries
I have used Health Paws pet insurance for both my dog and cat since 2017. My cat Pearl just went through 2 surgeries plus blood transfusions and many nights in ICU and the bills came to almost $35k. Yes, $35k. Healthy Paws covered the full 70% and I got all the $ quickly through direct deposit. I would highly suggest Healthy Paws and I will be a customer of theirs for many years to come!

Their customer service are nice but…
Their customer service are nice but they company is worthless. I had 2 claims, the 1st one took over 30 days to be completed, no big deal. The 2nd claim, is taking over 5 months, and I am the one that has to be contacting them to see of anything is need to be provided. After, I provided all information requested, they wait 3 months until I call them again to tell me my dog was seen at the vets on June 2021, which is not true never told them that, and my dog was home. It was my wedding day. They just told me, I could make claims from May 14 2021 to June 2021. My claim is from April 2022, they keep contradicting themselves, and saying "oh sometimes our system request this information by accident" but delays the claim and they don't tell you anything either.
