I WOULD BE LOST WITHOUT HEALTHY PAWS
I would be LOST with out Healthy Paws. My sweet Great Bernese, George, tore his CCL and required surgery. As you can imagine, it was a very scary time and healthy paws was able to take one HUGE stressor off my plate. The surgery was covered per my policy and I was reimbursed within the week of the surgery taking place. Not only did they come in huge for the surgery, they even reached out after the surgery just to check in on George. Do your self a favor and get Healthy Paws insurance for your pets. You will not regret it :)

Deceptive Practice to be aware of
Spot was highly recommended to me by several acquaintances. As a result, I signed up online on Dec 25th for Spot for our 10 mos. old cavachon who is still at the trainer's facility and will be delivered to us Jan 2. I received a call from Spot a few days later (on Dec 29th) ostensively inquiring about whether we knew how the insurance worked and how to file claims and if we had any questions. In the course of the conversation, I mentioned that our dog would be delivered on Jan 2nd by the trainer. The representative harped on the point that the dog was not yet in our full possession and insisted we were not covered since the dog was not yet in our possession. I explained that the dog is fully owned and paid for by us and I tried to explain this to her, but it made no difference. She insisted that we had to reset the starting date to Jan 2nd and extend out the waiting period. The dog is healthy and again recently vet checked and offered to provide her a copy of the vet report. I told her all this, but it made no difference. This seemed like a deceptive practice to me as it was not disclosed on the Spot website and the representative from Spot was insistent and not willing to escalate the matter to a higher level. This made me think that Spot might handle claims if I had any in a similar and deceptive matter to avoid payment. Had this issue on physical possession of the dog been clearly disclosed on the Spot website, I would have made the initial starting date later. As a result, I canceled our insurance with Spot and went with another provider. The cancellation was within the 30 day period and therefore I received a full refund.

Well I’m new here to spot insurance so…
Well I’m new here to spot insurance so this review is still pending on whether I get reimbursed for my Hansel’s wellness checkup or not! I am still currently waiting for that money to be direct deposited! Other then the waiting so long I have no issues it seems great for me it’s just about how fast they return my money!!if my money is not returned soon this amount of money I pay for insurance don’t seem worth it to have to wait because I am still paying out of pocket for the whole bill!!!!

Most helpful pet insurance
If you want to have coverage for illness and emergencies this insurance is it! The customer service agents are knowledgeable and friendly. The claims process for if your Vet isn’t with their software can take a little longer but knowing that I can choose my own Vet and still be reimbursed for the “out-of-network” costs gives me peace of mind. (Note: if you use a Vet with their software they do pay direct). My puppy caught pneumonia and I was so worried about the racking costs but Trupanion eased my mind and let me focus on getting my baby healthy again.

Owning a pet can be expensive
I joined Fetch because we have a 7 year old Pomchi and I didn’t want to base our decisions on veterinary expenses because of $$. Within 3 months of paying for monthly insurance, she had emergency surgery. I put in my claim. It took a little while but it did come through and I was paid promptly once it was approved.

Mostly happy⦠reg admin fee
Simple and mostly clear. I was however surprised by the $35 admin fee which I wasnât aware of until registration and should have been made clearer when the quote was provided.
