Just like a happy marriage that ends in divorce
I have enjoyed everything about sonnet. Their online portals are simple to use. Their representatives over the phone are amazing and so friendly. However, I hit a deer and going through my first claim and so far it has been theft inside a nightmare. Everything was approved except my windshield. Imagine injuring yourself to the point you can’t work and support your family and they only approve half. Their justification is that it was damage from a prior incident. I have no clue of what hypothetical incident they are referring to. I saw the damage happen with my own eyes when I hit the deer. I even had a professional glass technician write a letter stating in his professional opinion they damage was cause by flying debris from the vehicle on impact. Buyer beware

Great company to deal with.
I was given the terrible news that my companion Bella a black Lab mix had cancer and I was concerned about finances. Thank goodness for Trupanion. They have been helping greatly with the cost of Bella's cancer treatment. It's still costly but thank goodness I have Trupanion to help. They are also considerate and helpful when you need to talk to them. Plus submitting claims is simple and stress free. Highly recommend for the well being of your pet and your wallet.

I honestly can't say that I have ever had a better car insurance experience than with Sonnet. I shopped around and even visited another broker. They all wanted more information and were more expensive. Purchasing car insurance through Sonnet's website was easy, quick and affordable. I am going to recommend Sonnet to all my friends. Truly excellent!

31% monthly increase with no claims ever.
After being with them for a year with zero claims, they suddenly increased my monthly payments by 31%. “we promise not to change your rate more than once in a 12-month period.” Yeah no need when you bump it by 31% a year. I understand 3-5% a year, I get it. But 31% is ridiculous. I do not recommend being with a company that will treat you like that.

It would be nice to get reminders of…
It would be nice to get reminders of renewal of pet coverage. It would also be nice if the deductible from a previous account be forward to a new account like mine. Had 2 of my cats in to the Vet with issues and both were $91.? Now I have to start over.

On an evening at the start of a weekend, an individual decided to vent his pent-up rage at us by ramming his vehicle into ours. Luckily, our vehicle took the brunt of the impact and no passengers in our car were harmed. From the moment we were in touch with an agent at Sonnet, we not only had a claim set up within minutes, we were also treated with a high degree of professionalism and compassion. Everything that could be done by Sonnet agents, auto repair and car rental personnel was done with a high degree of professionalism. It made the rather traumatic incident a lot easier to deal with.
