Sonnet is doing it's job for us!
We have had Sonnet for a few years now and we are happy we are protected at a bit more affordable price (we have two cars and our house). We have peace of mind if we ever have something bad happen we would be able to rebuild or replace/fix our vehicles. I didn't give it a 5 star as we have no idea what happens if we have to put in a claim! So far so good and hoping it stays this way!

Easy and decent for an insurance company
Overall, Sonnet experience has been solid. I've now been with them for a couple of years and I always find it really easy to make changes and get things done when I need to. For example, I've changed cars, added drivers etc all in minutes without having to talk to anyone. I also like the way their products are organized and coverages are described. The only reason for 4* instead of 5 is that I just had a pretty hefty price increase this year. I've added younger drivers to the policy, so can understand that, but the increase was bigger than I expected. Also, I didn't have time to shop around... so just accepted my renewal. Maybe they were the cheapest insurer for me a couple of years ago, but there could be better out there with the new drivers. Wish I had the time to check at renewal so at least I can feel confident that I'm still getting a competitive price.

Price & policy designed to take more money even from experienced drivers
Price & policy designed to give no benefit to experienced drivers. No consideration to clean records of US driving history. When i applied for My driving licence in Canada; my records from USA were accepted and clean history of USA was considered to give me a full G licence but, insurance does thinks otherwise that i am inexperienced and keeps rates high and charge insurance an inexperienced driver. I tried to reason with Agent - no good. Worst part - next year - my experience went up but so did cost of insurance (even though my records are clean) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Updating post reply on my feedback as there was no way to revert on the reply by company who try to look good by posting canned messages to customer feedbacks. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As a reply to my feedback - asked to Chat or contact Via Email to an agent (already did couple of times) I was asked to fetch an Abstract Report - Which i have and submitted. In the first place that was what i used to prove my driving experience to get a G (full ) licence in Canada when i came from USA. As second request in reply – asked to contact prior insurance companies to provide proof of insurance. That’s where it gets complicated. I have reply form two companies but not all. They got no interest in helping an x-customer. And i am back to square one. Essentially - even though at 48 years and a clean driving history of four continents - i am considered as an inexperienced driver (because the insurance companies are reluctant to work logically). Any anyway - if i was inexperienced it would be a matter of only time before a mis-happening will be a good reason to make the rates go higher. But, NO - the logic is not how money works. It works the hard way - not by trusting the customer but asking customer to prove the capability.

Run, don't walk away from Figo
My experience with Figo is that they are the insurance company Mr. Incredible (Bob) worked for while he was in hiding. They are in the business of NOT paying for anything, in fact you will need a lawyer to help you navigate their submission/resubmission/denials as they run you around the gauntlet. If you're looking for peace of mind, this is not your company. If you love conflict, this is your company.. Heck, they even review each claim and second guess your Vet's prescriptions for your pet.. you heard that right, they'll say, "Well, we didn't feel this medicine was necessary for that ailment".. yup, that's right, your vet is not your vet, Figo is the back-seat driving vet... While Figo was my first pet insurance experience, I'm old enough to have almost 50 years of other insurances under my belt, including many-many claim situations... Figo? Bottom of the heap... nice app, bad service. Oh, I read another post and was reminded that they just magically increase your premiums, drastically... Yes, they do. Nice initial quote, won't last. Run, don't walk, away from Figo

We used Healthy Paws for health…
We used Healthy Paws for health insurance for our Great Dane, Luna. We bought the insurance for her at birth and didn't use it for a few years, but then around age 4, she developed pneumonia, which required a short hospitalization and IV antibiotics. Then at age of 6, she tore her CCL. Healthy paws covered all of these treatments, a full CCL repair surgery (which is NOT cheap), AND her post surgery physical therapy. I've never encountered an insurance company that was so seamless and easy. Claims are processed quickly, and I've never been asked for extra documentation or had a denial. (Why can't human insurance be this easy?!) Luna is a happy and healthy girl now due to Healthy Paws. We will be using them for all future furry family members :)

App is easy to use and once you get…
App is easy to use and once you get your claim back it is easy to understand. My only complaint (more of constructive criticism) is that claims can take a long while to process. When wondering if it will even be covered, it can be difficult just waiting for weeks to get a response. That said, when I reach out asking for an update I was quick to get a response, albeit a little vague. Still, given staffing and increased number of pets, this is understandable. I would still recommend to others!

Easy to work with
Easy to work with! Claims have generally been quick, preventative items are faster than illness/injury claims, but that's to be expected. They issued a payment within 30 days on our dog's overnight emergency care which costs us ~$1500, to see the claim approved just 4 weeks later we were surprised.
