I highly recommend Healthy Paws pet insurance to anyone. I have a rescue pup with some health issues and their claims department has processed all claims quickly and fairly. The online claim submittal process is easy to use.

So Easy to file a claim and fast process
Grace needed emergency care so to her into Vet ER and diagnosed her with pancreatitis. After a long day, I received my invoice and got her home to start her meds. I had never had to file a claim until that day, and was dreading all the paperwork. Much to my surprise, The claim process was so easy! I immediately received email and texts telling me that they received the claim. Communication from Trupanion was excellent, explaining every step of the process. Such a relief! The whole process was completed in less than 5 days. I’m very happy with Trupanion and that Grace is back to normal.

Another SCAM insurance company
Another SCAM insurance company. I’ve paid for my dog to be insured through them for 3 years without a single claim. After the first year, they increased my payment and increased my deductible from $250 to $750 without my approval. I kept paying. Then, my dog got hit by a car and had serious injuries that required surgery. This pathetic scam insurance company is trying to deny my claim and is not paying me!! There excuse is that they don’t have “enough information”. I’ve provided itemized bills, receipts, copies of labs, X-rays, vet notes, post op instructions. There is literally nothing else to give them. This is just a BS excuse to try to avoid paying me. What a scam.

Could be more helpful
I don't know if this is standard policy, but I recently submitted my first claim. Healthy Paws is requesting ALL of my pet's vet medical bills EVER. It is a 3 part claim. The first 2 parts they didn't owe me anything, by their standards (it was under the deductible.) The 3rd part they wouldn't pay without all of his medical records. My guess is it's an attempt to see if there is any pre-existing condition which will means they won't have to pay (spoiler alert: there isn't.) They are also checking to make sure I had an exam within the first year of getting the insurance, which they tell you but they don't make you prove, since they can use it to null your coverage later and they will not have to refund you! Be careful!
