Poor notice of “pre-existing conditions not being covered forever. A cat that had mild tartar at one point was excluded from any future dental coverage. A dog with a repaired knee injury excluded from any future orthopedic conditions coverage? Complete rip off! A two star only because they are at least polite on the phone.

I moved to SPOT, and my prior company was "okay". our two labs were taken care of, but SPOT took PHENOMENAL care of my two labs!! Breck swallowed a pair of panty hose and was in need of immediate care. The spot team treated our lab like their own family pet! Not enough good things to say!

Ear infection is "pre-existing condition"!!!
My dog had an ear infection in August 2021 and went to see his vet in December 2022 for another treatment. In between these two visits, I switched my dog's insurance to Figo because I saw their ads in Costco magazine. Being a long-time Costco customer, I thought Figo would be a better pet insurance company. I'd never thought that Figo declined my claim because my dog's ear infection is a "pre-existing condition". If I knew, I'd never switch to Figo.
