Great customer service when submitting a claim. Person who assisted me walked me through onine claim process and submitted it with a quick payment turn around time. I am glad that I have our pet insured with Metlife Pet Insurance.

Fast
I own a dachshund so of course I had to make sure I had coverage for potential back problems in the future. When she ended up needing back surgery I knew it would be covered. I sent in the claim right away. The claim was reviewed and prossed quickly. I received 90% reimbursement much faster than expected as well, which was fantastic because that wasn't a cheap surgery. Thank goodness I have MetLife.

It is easy to file a claim n get a reply within a reasonable time. Nice to have vaccines covered, as well as serious illnesses n accidents.

Auto payments
I was told if I went in the same day to change my method of payment because Zelle didn't work that i would get my payment the new way. I did that but still received an email saying a check was being mailed. Called again and this time told once it is rejected once it goes by check. So not everyone is on the same page there.

Trupanion has gone above and beyond for…
Trupanion has gone above and beyond for my family these past couple weeks. They covered my dog Rivers vet bills far better than i ever expected and made an incredibly stressful situation so much better. River needed really expensive treatment this week and Trupanion came through is such a big way. I will absolutely keep Trupanion as our pet insurance for life. Highly recommend to any pet owner.

To be honest, she was very persistent and informative. I just didn’t like the things that she was saying and that has nothing to do with her. I just want things my way, but she did really good and she did really good at checking up on my status.

Being denied things that should be…
Being denied things that should be covered is asinine. My vet reccomended a presciption diet, one you can not get without vet approval. And it was denied due to "no medical reason." If the vet wants him on it, thats reason enough. You didnt go to vet school, they did. And then having to remind them that my dogs met his deductable repeatedly is inconvient. I work for corporate vet med, and am about to consider suggesting other companies to new pet owners.
