Terrible customer service
when i chatted with Danielle on 2/2/2023 i request for a follow up to be sure my personal card info that was used for refunds and payments be removed from the profile. she never followed up. Customer service is vague and useless. i am concerned about fraud or this company gets hacked i should have the right to removed my card information. this is just one example of multiple requests i have done with this company by phone or chat. each reach rep says it will take 7 days and i will get a follow up and they never follow up. your company does not need my card information anymore and i should have the right to have it removed. i can only suggest whoever reads this that they know how difficult it is to get anyone to follow up with a simple request. i will never do business with this company again

Best cost for full coverage, fast claim submission
I am very pleased with MetLife. I have full coverage for my boxer pup. Through all my research MetLife was the only company that allows you to add preventative care for no additional charge. It’s been great using MetLife and the easy use app they provide to make claims a breeze.

Compassion of customer care personnel…
Compassion of customer care personnel both on the phone and on chat. In May of 2021, the claims for our cat Justice were paid with alacrity and according to the contract. I just submitted the final claims for our cat, and hope to see the same accuracy and alacrity in the payment of such, knowing that there will be exclusions due to contractual stipulations.

The claims process was atrocious
The claims process was atrocious. There are several public (i.e. Google) reviews stating the same. I submitted a claim on 5/31/2022. It was closed at least 3 times with the explanation medical records had not been submitted. I appealed each time and submitted records each time, along with my initial claim filing. It would take no less than 2-3 mos between filing and receiving any communication regarding outcome. I initiated every follow up with inquiries regarding status. My vet became frustrated with them due the multiple and duplications of requests for the same information. So after approximately 9 mos my claim was denied....again. I cancelled the policy within 24 hours of being notified.

Best Pet Insurance Around
I have been a customer of Pets Best for a few years now and I love them. They are very quick to process claims and their explanation of benefits on the claim is great whether I am being reimbursed or not. Their phone customer service is excellent and they always answer all of my questions. It is nice to be able to choose my deductible and copay and the multi-pet discount is a plus. I highly recommend Pets Best for your pet insurance needs.
