For the past couple of years, I’ve questioned myself on if we should keep Trupanion as we were blessed to have a happy, healthy pup. About 6 months ago we noticed some changes in our girl. After some serious testing, she was diagnosed with Cushing Disease, something that will affect her for the rest of her life. The treatment for Cushing is very expensive. Thanks to our Trupanion policy, we do not need to worry about the costs for treatment and can focus on helping our girl heal. Thank you Trupanion!

When I first purchased trupanion 12 years ago there weren't too many other pet insurance companies available, now there are that don't have so many rules/polices. Plus the fees keep going up - for what - everytime I submit a claim it is denied because it was a pre-existing condition! I called other companies and this is not the case.....I am considering switching to another company.

The service is great.
The service is great. The only thing is that the premiums are much higher than in the past so with a higher deductible we aren't really able to benefit for vet bills that are under $500.
