Exactly the Pet Insurance I Need!

High premiums extremely low reimbursement
If want to pay high premiums and receive peanuts when you make a claim then Trupanion is for you!! We have paid for over 6 years for our dog and made a a few claims and every time they pay almost nothing. A person is so much better off saving the premium $ using it when you actually have to go to the vet. 99 times out of a 100, you will be further ahead during the life of your pet. We are cancelling our policy and will not be using Trupanion in the future.

Premium increase
I read that you don't do "birthday pricing" increases. Well, shortly after my dog's birthday, I received an email notifying me of a premium increase beginning in May. I have only had Trupanion for one year, have yet to submit a claim, and already there is a premium increase? I am sure that the insurance will be worth it in the long run, but was not happy to see a premium increase after only one year.

Trupanion has been VERY GOOD to us. With all the expensive surgeries, ear infections, etc., we probably could not have kept our sweet Maggie with us. Trupanion paid LOT for all of Maggie's health issues. We are vert thankful our Vet gave us the first month free when Maggie was a puppy and we continued with it. THANK YOU, TRUPANION!!!!!
