Never again
Had this insurance for seven years. My last experience was a big disappointment that I cannot recommend this company. My beloved golden doodle became severely sick and was taken to an animal emergency room. Unfortunately they were not able to save her. After I sent in the bill nothing was covered. I would imagine the exam cost and lab work in the ER should be covered right? Nope. I’m too heart broken to make phone calls to fight for it. One the reviewer was spot on when he said that they would try to always deny your claims. Update: after this was posted, I did make a phone call to cancel my policy since my email to info at healthypaws was unanswered. The very nice lady from customer support did explain that the zero coverage was a result of a duplicate claim and that I should be receiving some reimbursement.

Truly concerned!
When Ally my Yorkie was given something that caused her to vomit blood and diarrhea. Taken to hospital. They had genuine concern for your pets. Approval was very fast. I can not recommend them more highly. They are truly the best. That is why their called Trupanion.
