Seemed too easy
Entire process was almost seamless. Needed to make one phone call to verify receipt of forms and that was it. Everything else went exactly how it was supposed to, which doesn't seem to happen very often anymore. It was a pleasure dealing with both the provider and Healthy Paws. The email follow-ups were a nice touch too
Thanks Trupanion
Excellent service, never had any problems with Trupanion always paid what I expected or very close. I insured Molly the day she came home and I don't regret insuring her. I have peace of mind God forgive if anything happens to her she's covered. Thanks again Trupanion Guy
Monthly premium
Just got our annual renewal and was very unpleasantly surprised to see the premiums had gone up 25%.

I enrolled my eight week old puppy the day I got him in Trupanion and found myself initially very impressed with how quickly they responded to claims and issues. I had to take my dog to the hospital for an emergency toxicity issue and during the procedure one of the vets (not my Dogs vet) made a note on his file that he had some mild dental disease at the time. Despite being enrolled in Trupanion this apparently counted as my Dogs first dental exam, even though he was being treated for a completely separate emergency issue by a completely separate vet, and they're basing all of his coverage off of it (he went for an official exam a week later and came back all clear from his actual vet). However, because these issues are now considered a pre-existing condition (remember that he was enrolled in Trupanion at the time when it happened) they're refusing to cover any dental issues moving forward. Support is very unsympathetic to stuff like this which is not surprising. So now I'm just waiting to see now how many other things can be classified as pre-existing conditions and I'm very cautious about taking my dog to emergency care moving forward because you never know what might end up disqualifying your dog from future coverage. Not the best experience for a new customer. Don't be seduced by all the loving marketing talk. Their primary motivation is seeing what they can get away with not covering

Easy to sign Harrison up for insurance
Easy to sign Harrison up for insurance. A fair price . Hopefully we won’t have to ever use it, but it gives us peace of mind.

Overall
I couldn't have a better insurance. Getting the insurance was a breeze. I got a great deal for 2 dogs. Pricing, ease of submitting a claim, reimbursement and coverage of everything from care to follow up to therapy after surgery. I couldn't be happier.
