This is our second set of German…
This is our second set of German Shorthair pointers. With my last 3 GSP Trupanion paid of $30.000.00 in claim. Yes I said $30.000.00 and everyone ask if it cover the well visit. I tell them NO I can handle that payment. But when you dogs tear their ACL 2 and 3 times you need to have the insurance. Trupanion thank you.

Easy claim
Easy claim. Kaia went to the vet on Wednesday and her vet submitted her claims. Claims approval took about a day!!!! We didn’t meet deductible but Im happy to know that Trupanion is there for my pet!!! Highly recommend them. Customer service is very helpful.

MetLife Came Through for Us When We Needed Them
I wanted to take some time to share my recent experience with MetLife Pet Insurance. Over the years, we've had many pets, but never signed-up for insurance. That recently changed when my employer offered it through MetLife with a discount as a benefit. I decided to sign up but was always skeptical how difficult it would be to submit a claim and get it approved if I ever needed to. Unfortunately, just a few months after I signed up for the policy, our now 16-month-old Labrador tore the cruciate ligament in her left leg when she slipped on the floor. We had TPLO surgery done, which cost $4,200, and I immediately filed a claim with MetLife after I had collected all the paperwork. The online claim submission process was very easy, intuitive, and did not require anything extraordinary or unreasonable. After a few days of waiting, I was notified that the claim was approved! To be honest, I thought it was going to be a battle to get it approved, but there were no follow-up questions or requests for any other records beyond what I had already submitted. Within a day of the claim being approved, I received an email with instructions for payment options. I selected a direct deposit into our checking account, and the money was deposited in less than 24 hours! Wow! It's hard enough to have to go through all of this drama with our pup, but having MetLife pay our claim with no questions asked has definitely provided us with some much-needed good news and relief. Thank you, MetLife! It's great to know there are still companies out there who provide great service and do what they say! I hope to never have to file another claim again in the future, but it's comforting to know that MetLife has my back if I do.

I had some initial difficulties…
I had some initial difficulties understanding exactly what the insurance covered and there was a bit of back and forth with the customer centre on a claim. But other than that, when we needed it for unexpected x-rays that amounted to over $750 they immediately covered 90% as per policy. It's a relief to know that if if something unexpected happens we can count on them.
