Forever grateful
We signed our furbaby up when he was just a kitten. Our spoiled kitty is now 8 1/2 and Trupanion has been amazing. Fatty was diagnosed with FIV in 2021 and I don't know how we could have done what our Trupanion policy made possible on our own. They've been there through surgery, treatment, meds, supplements at an EXTREMELY affordable monthly premium. Thank you Trupanion!

The company is the best I have ever…
The company is the best I have ever worked with, over the lifetime of my cats, but especially when my cats were ill. They were very understanding and caring, going the extra mile to help me obtain the best treatment options, from my vet. They promptly sent me a refund on vet visits and covered ALL their aliments, no difficulty. The options for coverage are the best I've seen and treatment options are very broad, from physical therapy, acupuncture to transplants! They are sometimes more expensive, but worth every penny.

You guys were amazing when my boy needed emergency surgery. I was stressed enough, I did not stress about what my portion to pay or my pup getting the care he needed immediately with your quick approval. Literally it took 2 minutes to go through.

Very happy I have Trupanion
Trupanion has been a blessing. I am disabled and don't get very much money a month and im on a fixed budget but with Trupanion I have the peace of mind if my sweet cat Autumn gets hurt I can afford to get her the help she needs.

Very mixed feelings
Truly, 2.5 star review. The way they cover claims is quite deceptive: for example if the vet writes GI upset, you pay the initial $250, it they write “upset stomach” for the same issue… you guessed it, you pay another $250. They did come through for us for my dog’s surgery, but that’s once in 8 yrs, and our premiums have skyrocketed. That’s what 2.5 stars are for.

Trupanion is a caring and responsive company.
I have been with Trupanion for 12 years. They have been so wonderful about reimbursing me for my dog's ailments. We've just been through a difficult time with our Noel. She was diagnosed with vestibular disease. It's like what happens to us as we age. One day she wouldn't eat or get up. We were able to find a great vet. Of course I knew it would be expensive. She was hospitalized and had many tests. Her bill was over $5,000.00. Trupanion helped me with the claim. I was limited because I'm not computer savvy. A woman named Colette was so patient with me on the phone as she guided me with the claim. Otherwise I would have given up on the vlaim.with the claim. I am so grateful to her and ... Trupanion for being so kind to me. Without her help I probably would have given up.

Trupanion member for 10 years and love it. It's comforting to know if my pups need vet care I don't have to worry and stress about not being able to afford it. The claims process is user-friendly, easy, and super fast with the reimbursements. I recommend it to all my friends.

Not great
Took almost a full month to get refund for a regular vet visit. Covered about 25% of what I paid at the vet although visit was just regular check up with vaccines. More of a discount plan than insurance

I had a policy with sonnet for a year called in when my policy was up for renewal , that went great , told me not to worry my policy was on auto renewal . A month goes by and I get an email stating my policy is cancelled , phoned in after being on hold for 30 minutes and they kept lying to me saying I had fines , tickets , bank cancelled payment and the list goes on . They told me to start a new quote when my old policy was $3,000 a year started a new quote and was quoted $5300 a year up front because they fokt up my policy , tried insuring with other companies and and there policy rates are ridiculous telling me I had policy cancellation issues with sonnet . I tried to get in touch with customer service heroe bull crap was on hold for 44 minutes trying to resolve this issue but no luck after being transferred twice to other agents ( Maria and azuir) if I could give zeros stars I would thanks for wasting my time and screwing up my name worst experience with sonnet insurance
