DON'T, SERIOUSLY JUST DON'T
They gave us a 40% increase without notice and just pulled the money out of our account. I called the same day and cancelled, they tried to hit me for a $3 service charge. The way they did it was shady as well. The CS rep I was talking to kept saying I was approved for a "full" refund until the very end of the call, literally the last thing she says as she's about to release the call, "And there's a $3.00 service charge" Needless to say I blew a gasket, we'll see if they do the right thing and give it back because that is just the lowest of the low. Seriously, absolutely no notice what-so-ever that the rates were going to jump like that and just steal the money out of the account. Then when I confront, they grab $3.00 back to cover their expense for transferring back to me, the money they stole out of my account, without telling me of the increase. What kind of company does that? As a side note, they never paid a single penny for any of our dogs expenses in the years we've had the policy. So they made a tidy bundle on us already. I wish there was a way to get that back without a ton of legal wrangling, I really do. Update: As expected, they DID NOT do the right thing and clawed back $3. The only consolation that I have is that by complaining and insisting on an escalation I made them burn way more than $3 of FTE time. Idiots.

I have been with this company since…
I have been with this company since 2006 when it was called gopetplan. This company is different as it goes by incident and not yearly claims. They are good when protecting the life of a pet any cut you off at the age of 13. Unfortunately, I have recently submitted a claim for allergies that they did not cover at all. When Natasha first started the company, it was all good intentions but now, they are hard to deal with. I would look for other options.

Worth it
While sometimes difficult to navigate with paperwork, they are fair. Rates get very high in old age, but that is to be expected. Insurance is peace of mind, and I like the security of knowing catastrophes will be covered.

I purchased a policy with Fetch Pet…
I purchased a policy with Fetch Pet Insurance for my Pomeranian puppy, Baby Bear, expecting coverage for unexpected medical expenses. Unfortunately, my experience with the claims process has been disappointing. My claim for retained deciduous teeth and an undescended testicle surgery was denied based on findings documented during a routine wellness examination when my puppy was only five months old. At that visit, the veterinarian diagnosed Baby Bear as a healthy, normal puppy. The records specifically state “Appears normal” and “Healthy animal.” The veterinarian noted retained baby teeth and one undescended testicle, but also advised waiting until the puppy was at least one year old to allow time for the testicle to descend naturally. In my opinion, developmental findings observed in a five-month-old puppy should not automatically be treated the same as a confirmed permanent medical condition. Retained baby teeth and delayed testicular descent are commonly monitored in young puppies, and my veterinarian did not recommend immediate surgery or diagnose a permanent condition at that time. Despite this, Fetch classified these findings as pre-existing conditions and denied coverage for the surgery. I am currently appealing the decision and hope Fetch will reconsider after reviewing the complete veterinary records. Pet owners should carefully review Fetch’s policy language regarding pre-existing conditions and understand how routine findings during a puppy’s first examination may affect future claims.
