App is a Mess
Let me start by saying that I have never had an issue with MetLife until recently. The app needs work. When you submit claims for more than one pet it is VERY confusing. After submitting my claim, I couldn’t determine if it submitted/submitted correctly through the app. I had to just email it which was way better for me. Also I was told that because I submitted both claims incorrectly that someone would be in touch within 24-48 hours. It took a week and a half before that happened only because I was persistent.my claims took two weeks to get paid off.

Not worth it
I bought Embrace pet insurance for emergencies and did not add the wellness package. When my dog had a true emergency at two in the morning (throwing up blood and pooping blood), my claim was denied as “wellness.” This has happened every time I make a claim. Without the wellness package they do not seem to cover anything, so I would not recommend this insurance.

Hands down the best pet insurance provider !
We love MetLife pet insurance for many reasons. I work at a Veterinary Hospital and see many other insurance companies our clients have for their pets . MetLife is by far the best pet insurance provider out of all of them. I recommend MetLife to all clients looking for pet insurance.

Do not purchase a policy with Spot
I regret going with Spot Insurance and paying upfront for a year. So far they have denied my claims, saying that it's a pre-existing condition. However, my cat was never treated for any of the issues before and the things he was treated for are in no way related to the claims I submitted. They make it impossible to get in touch with customer service to dispute a claim. Can't email or chat online - can only call. However, each time I tried to call I sat on hold for over 30 minutes before giving up. Do not go with this company. There has to be better options out there.

I was always skeptical about pet…
I was always skeptical about pet insurance, until I needed it. I’m so incredibly grateful that I have the insurance. My dog got very ill and I’ve had to spend minimal on finding solutions because of the reimbursement we get back.
