Excellent service for you and your pets!
I work in emergency veterinary medicine which made finding a good insurance company both important and stressful. I spent HOURS reading websites, sample policies and putting together a spreadsheet for comparisons. Many Pets was one of my top contenders for multiple reasons: good coverage, amazing prices and how broad the coverage is. Some key points: dental cleanings are not required unless recommended by a vet. Other companies required cleanings every 13 months. Not only are cleanings expensive, but they are stressful for your pets.If they are not needed, I do not want to subject my cats to them yearly. Tartar alone does not automatically count against your pet's coverage for future dental disease under Many Pets' policy. Another plus: preexisting curable illnesses only count for 18 months. So if my pet had an ear infection 6 months prior to getting the policy and it was resolved, that means in 12 months my pet will then be able to have coverage if he gets another ear infection. Both of my pets have preexisting conditions from trauma to their legs. In the future, if they get arthritis and the vet does not deem it related to their prior injuries, there is a good chance it will be covered. I also like that the insurance allows you to go to any vet. Not only for primary care, but also if you have an emergency while traveling or if you want to go to a specialist in another state if they are in need of that care. All of the little things that I was looking for were met by Many Pets. Customer service is also incredibly important to me. When I called to ask all of my very specific questions, I had no wait time before being connected with Serena.We were on the phone for almost 40 minutes because I had so many specific questions and she happily answered them all. She did not give me blanket statements or make promises she probably wouldn't be able to keep. She tailored her answers to my pets and their specific needs. She even gave me information about things I should have asked but did think about. She made sure I had a very good understanding of their policy and how it would cover my pets as they age. She doesn't get paid commission, she just really cares about and understands the needs of pets and how unexpected illnesses and injuries can turn a person's world upside down. She is passionate about pets getting the care they need and not having pet parents make difficult decisions based on the cost of care. She was phenomenal to work with and I know my pets are in good hands with their new coverage and with the people behind the scenes helping to provide that coverage. Their website is also really easy to navigate and has a lot of really good information for pet parents. There are several informational videos about preparing for emergencies, handing emergency situations when they arise and identifying problems with your pets. I watched them all and was very impressed. I would highly recommend looking into Many Pets as your insurance provider to see if it's a good fit for you.

Wish my health insurance was this good!
All I can say is, I wish my own health insurance was as helpful, responsive and easy to manage as Trupanion is for our beautiful Golden Retriever. We've been with Trupanion since Bailey was 8 weeks old (she's almost 8 years old now) and would recommend Trupanion to anyone who has a dog.

Huge annual increases (but good and sometimes fast payments)
Trupanion will cover costs and is relatively quick. My complaint is on their annual increases. In 8 years, they average a 15% increase in costs every year. While they will tell you it's less than 5% every year, there has only been 1 year where it was less than 10%, and the rest of the years it's been well over 10%. We are now paying 145% more than when we started. Trupanion, please don’t bother reaching out to me unless you plan to prorate the last 8 years to what it should’ve been if your annual increases were actually less than 5% like you told me back then, and at years 3 and 4 when I contacted you via phone about the huge annual increases (and you told me both times it averages less than 5% and I must’ve just happened to get abnormal increases). Thanks.

Peace of mind
Having insured my dogs with Embrace has been one of the best decisions I have made in my life, they have perfectly covered each of my pets' medical events, especially my dog Leo because he turned out to be an epileptic dog, they have been there attending to each of the emergencies. Embrace has been a blessing and a peace giver in the midst of all that having an epileptic dog entails.

Felt like a scam
will do anything they can to ensure that you did not get proper claim coverage. When you sign up they make it look like you are getting everything but there is other ways. Help service is not helpful at all.
