ASPCA makes too many excuses to not pay claims
I submitted a claim April 18, and it’s May 23, and I still have not received my reimbursement check from ASPCA. I pay almost $100 per month to cover my pet, and the money is taken from my account each month without delay. I expect claims to be paid in a timely manner. ASPCA is not what it used to be. If they are not able to process claims in a timely manner, they need to hire more employees instead of making excuses for the delays. Avoid this company as they do not pay their claims in a timely manner.

Healthy Paws is Incredible! Highly Recommend
We have been Healthy Paws customers for years. At every turn, Healthy Paws has provided convenient, dependable, and compassionate service (we received a hand signed card when our last dog passed away). Recently, one of our dogs had a serious illness that required emergency hospitalization. Those are always difficult moments for pet owners but knowing that we were covered by Healthy Paws allowed us to never question being able to provide the care our dog needed. Unsurprisingly, Healthy Paws covered everything according to our policy and issued payment quickly. We have recommended Healthy Paws to dozens of friends and family. Excellent Claim Experience
I had a pet insurance plan with another carrier for 14 years and my experience is settling claims was probably a 3 or 4. That was because I sometimes need to resubmit the claim because the doctor's notes were not detailed enough or they needed additional information. Once that was done I did get paid. MetLife is so much easier to work with. Claims are processed in a reasonable period of time. The claims submission process is easy. Payment comes quickly. The one time I called to ask a question is was easy to get through to a representative. The summary of payments that are available is a helpful tool. I am glad that I have had MetLife for about 3 months for my 5 month old puppy.
