Wonderful experience
Transferring my cat's insurance from her adoption organization to me was so quick and easy! I had a wonderful experience speaking with Janet; she is so friendly, explained everything clearly, and made the process efficient and enjoyable. DO NOT BUY THIS INSURANCE for your pet
DO NOT BUY THIS INSURANCE for your pet! If your pet has ever been to a vet; forget about getting reimbursed from this insurance company. They denied all claims despite my vet writing a letter to educate them about the condition he was treating which had nothing to do with a pre-existing condition. Extremely poor response time and a lack of education about medical issues here. Don't waste your money with this company.

Here is an update from my previous post: Embrace offered $200 on our $700 claim and we received a check for $40.00!! Said they had to deduct our premium but it was unclear why it wasn’t deducted from the $700.00 total cost! Terrible customer service!

We were customers with our Burner (Sheldon) who we sadly lost at 7 years old and Trupanion was with us all the way. I told my wife if and when we got another dog Trupanion would definitely be the first pet insurance provider we would call. (I can't thank them enough for all the help and support they have given to us with Sheldon)

Takes too long for reimbursement
The claim review process takes an excessive amount of time. It is usually 30+ days in order to get an explanation of benefits, plus an additiona 5 business days to obtain the coverage funds. I am still waiting on reimbursement for claim submitted. Half of it was considered but half is still under review.
