I couldn't be happier with the coverage…
I couldn't be happier with the coverage my Dory has. She's a Labrador and is extremely active, which can lead to some mishaps. Having Nationwide coverage has provided us with the best coverage. Her maintenance drugs (heartworm and flea and tick treatments) are covered. Her yearly physicals and those occasional mishaps are covered. Dory tore her ACL and we have coverage, so I don't have to worry and can devote my time to my girl.

Fetch is excellent
My husband and I have had our babies insured by Fetch (previously Petplan) for several years and this insurance company is top notch. Recently, my dog was just hospitalized for a whole week and Bryonna assisted us in getting the correct paperwork submitted since it was such a unique situation. She was so helpful and understanding. We are so glad we have Fetch when an emergency strikes. Thank you!

Worst customer service experience ever
Worst customer service experience. Megan W. which I spoke to was degrading and not very much of a good listener. They offered me to renew my free trial I got through my breeder. Which I happily did - I clicked the link thy sent me and chose a cheaper version with a higher deductible at $700 (cause we simply just can't afford the $250 deductible option). Payment went through and everything, I got my card statement today and realized I was charged $100+ rather than ~$45 (!!!) I called them right away and asked to see what could be done, explained the situation, etc. I was told that I should have asked the day of to remediate to the issue, and that there is NO WAY their system could have made this mistake, that it was simply my own fault and no reimbursement or credit could be made. That I should have called them directly rather than use the link they sent me by email. I don't know what to say other than I cannot believe how poorly this went and how sure I am that I selected the $700 deductible option, there's absolutely no doubt!! Anyways, not a good start to a ''life long'' relationship. I truly hope Megan get some more customer service coaching and Trupanion to get a bit more human friendly to address glitch/errors like this. I am simply asking for a simple refund or credit of the difference... That fund difference really matters to some people.

I have had Embrace Insurance for about…
I have had Embrace Insurance for about 6 years on 2 of my rottweilers. I have catastrophic insurance & dental only with a 1000.00 deductible, reduced to 750.00 w 2 pets. I recently had my 10 yr old female develop a vaginal discharge & acting lethargic. Took her in for an ultrasound & they found a large mass attached to her uterus which required surgery. Luckily they got it all & it was benign. Embrace without any problems paid 90% of her bills minus the deductible within about a week. After never needing them for almost 6 yrs I had to question how much push back I would get & honestly it went very smooth. Submitted all my bills online & they followed through. It was quite a large bill as surgery & 2 ultra sounds with a lung x-ray does add up. The only part they didn't pay for was her medication at the onset as I don't have medication coverage. Although they did pay for the oral meds during her surgery & her nights stay at the hospital for observation which I feel is important as bringing a dog home 5 hrs., after a major surgery to me is not wise. The only thing I wish is they didn't limit you to 10,000.00 a yr per pet by the policy you choose, 10,000.00 seems like a lot until you experience something like this. With the price of vet costs I think the limits should be higher depending on certain circumstances. Other than that I highly appreciate their promptness & concern for the pets.

administrative burden
I filed my first claim with Trupanion for my puppy who had a simple ear infection. When I submitted the claim, Trupanion's online claim system applied a different diagnosis code (Cruciate Ligament Tear) compared to what my puppy really had (Right Ear Infection, or Otitis Externa). Trupanion is now asking that my vet (who is very busy and already overworked), file an appeal so that the claim can be paid. This is an unnecessary administrative burden and I will no longer continue using this insurance company. I had a much better experience with ASPCA pet insurance and will be going right back to them. To anyone researching pet insurance companies, I highly advise choosing a different company that will be easy to work with and not create an administrative burden for their customers so as to avoid paying out anything legitimate.

Great so far
So far it was easy to apply. But the one thing I noticed when one summits a clam they don't have the option of medication or wellness check but they do in the form to sent email so it's good enough for me. User friendly
