My experience was a shock to me when I reported that my husband had passed away and they told me I had to re-insure my house I cannot understand that if the original contract was issued with both of our names on the policy. Your rep explained to me that the policy was issued under my husbands name and credit score which made him the primary. I also stated to him that I have taken the same coverage as which we had originally and now at a higher premium that does not make me very happy. I cannot understand why they couldn’t looked at my credit rating which is excellent and just take his name off of the policy which was issued in February 2022 and now my new policy is dated September 2022. My husband and I always suggest to our friends to check out sonnet Insurance and most of them have taken out policies with you from our word of mouth. As it stands right now I am very upset I am trying to keep my monthly expensive low and to know that I am paying more for my home insurance does not make me want to promote your company to anyone else. I will wait for a reply from someone to get back to me over this issue since I have paid my bill in full for the year because I do not want to have automatic withdraws or monthly payments which my husband always did. In closing I do not know if your representative put a note on my file stating that I am not a new customer and referred to our old policy which had both names are on.

A long relationship, many struggles
When I first got pet insurance, every claim was a struggle- sending in the forms and waiting, the vet sending in medical records over and over again only to hear from trupanion that their fax was broken. It got easier after a few years, and then they started changing the policy and denying coverage of medications to treat GI parasites. 🙄 Rates slowly rose and my pet became older and needed more care, so we stayed. Policy changes happened, and yet we stayed. The biggest red flag was when someone told me that they had called Trupanion and were able to tell me how much I paid for my policy 😲 The Trupanion rep had had no qualms about releasing info about my account to someone and when I brought it up with Trupanion they said they were looking into it, then crickets. When my pet passed, at 12yrs old they strung along the final few claims and when I got the payout letters, some of them had absurd claims for SPLEEN ENLARGEMENT when in reality it was diabetic syringes purchased at the pharmacy. They didn't even cover the cremation. I won't be purchasing or recommending Trupanion to anyone.

I recently moved out for the first time…
I recently moved out for the first time and needed to get tenants insurance. I purposely sought out for a fully online insurance provider as I hate the idea of having to go through a broker or wait on hold for a contact centre agent. Sonnet was one of the first to come up and they did not disappoint. For someone who is newer to insurance, I really appreciated the amount of information they provided about the coverage types and potential risks if you opt out. It was so easy to set up the policy that since then, I switched over my car insurance. Their website makes it so easy to add new coverages, edit existing ones, etc. To make things even better, I found their rates to be most competitive. Thanks Sonnett!
