Don’t waste your money
Originally we signed up for a $1000 deductible - that’s on us. For one year we’ve been paying $600 for nothing at all because we haven’t met the deductible. After a lot of planning and research, I wanted to reduce the deductible to 200, but we couldn’t due to their policy (can’t reduce by more than 200 at a time). So we’re leaving and saving our money.

I had originally called in to cancel my policy due to a poor experience I had with this company last summer. I spoke to Denise at fetch and she gave me lots of information to help me see the value in my coverage. I will be taking her advice and doing more research so that I'm can get the most out of my coverage.

Not Happy With Coverage
I'm not happy with this coverage. Trupanion coverage was offered to me on my new rescue dogs first vet visit. First month free, no waiting period on claims. I put in 3 claims for almost $500 and received less that a $20 refund. The claim's process took almost 2 months. I included all paperwork and receipts needed. My claims were approved, however, I didn't receive any refunds for 2 claims, because there is a Per Condition/Illness Lifetime Deductible. I also found out that exam fees and such aren't covered. I wasn't informed about this type of deductible upfront. I had to search through all of the insurance documents lingo to find it. This insurance is also more expensive that others and there is also a $35 charge on your first months payment. I have a great insurance company for my other dog and I'm highly disappointed and could never reccomend this company.

Best ever
My dogs have been insured with several different companies and Pets Best has been the best of all of them by far. It is easy to file a claim, they didn’t ask for his entire veterinary history, and they paid fairly quickly. Fenway and I are very pleased with Pets Best!
