Two sick dogs, one great experience!
Two of our dogs -- Harper and Cutter -- have needed vet care unexpectedly in the past month. The bills piled up quickly, and we were quickly reimbursed by Embrace. We've been with them for nearly nine years and can't imagine raising our pets without their coverage.

Impossible to justify a policy including preventative care. Monthly cost is better placed into a savings account!
I had to submit my claim twice for consideration. Despite paying nearly $70/ month with the understanding that 80 to 90% of charges associated with covered activities and services would be reimbursed. The annual maximum placed on these services makes this insurance almost pointless and I am strongly considering canceling my insurance policy unless these prohibitive restrictions are lifted.

Million Dogs!
I can't say enough about Healthy Paws and the care they have enabled me to give my dogs! They came through every time. My dogs ended up being pretty high maintenance and there were many expensive hospital and vet bills over there lifespan. The peace of mind is invaluable in knowing that whatever procedure is needed to help your pet, can be given without hesitation knowing that Healthy Paws will be there for you and your pets! That is invaluable!! All of their many Vets know that whatever procedure or treatment they think my dogs need, I would not hesitate to say: "Yes, do it!" They always have to ask anyway. I thank them so much for their kindness and consideration thought all the challenges and especially my Fur Angel's last days.! I just received a condolences card from them that brought the tears flowing again as they are right now in writing this! My dogs are my joy, stress and purpose and as soon as I feel I am ready for more, Healthy Paws will be my first email! God Bless You Healthy Paws! R/Larry

You do need to take the extra step of reimbursing your bills but the Embrace staff are excellent, the document submission is straightforward, and they have reimbursed everything we've requested without hesitation.

Nothing like Trupanion
I am so grateful for Trupanion as they have let me give my fur baby Dolce, a male Yorky, who is now almost 13 the best care possible. You never want to think you have to utilize your pet’s insurance however, my baby has had a series of different illnesses. He has suffered three ACL surgeries three perianal adenoma surgeries, collapsed trachea, Cushing’s disease and is such a trooper. Between the veterinary costs, as well as chronic medicine I would have been in debt because I wouldn’t let financial resources stop me from getting Dolce the care he needs regardless. Any time I’ve called and spoke with a representative, I’ve endured the most compassionate, caring people that always make me feel so grateful to be part of the Trupanion family. They have been a game changer in the quality of life for Dolce. The app is so easy to upload receipts, they reach out to the vet if they need any additional information, once you hit your deductible for a disease state minus exam fees they cover 90% of the costs incurred. I have nothing except positive feedback and gratitude for the opportunity they’ve assisted me with in giving Dolce the best chance possible for a great quality of life. He is my whole world, my best friend, my fur baby and part of the family. He appreciates Trupanion, as well!

Spot was really good at making sure my Vizla stayed up to date on all of his preventative care. They reach out with really helpful reminders about submitting claims. Never had an insurance company encourage me to make claims as much as Spot.
