Have used them for almost 9 years - rates have gone up understandably, but customer service, response time, and coverage has remained the same. It has been well worth getting insurance since it takes away any hesitation to get things done for our dogs without worrying about the financial piece of it.

Ease of entering and applying. Contract was a little hard to understand as it outlined more of what’s not covered than what is covered. Overall it was a good experience.

Trunpanion is a great insurance to have as your pet gets older. They pay at time of the visit so you don’t have to wait to get reimbursed. That’s important cause if you don’t have the all the money immediately your pet could suffer.

Healthy Paws is Great!
I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with Healthy Paws. I’ve, unfortunately, had to submit a few large claims due to emergencies, and the reimbursements were direct deposited to my bank account within just a few days. They even emailed to check in on our kitties. The app makes it very easy to submit your paperwork, and customer service has always been quick to respond. Highly recommend.

If you’re looking for preventative care don’t enroll your pet online……… they tell you after you enroll that you can only do it when you enrolling but the option isn’t available then you’ll have to wait a year to add it…..
