Cat Emergency made less stressful
I had a cat emergency when my cat decided to eat a string with a wire in it. Had to taken him to ER and luckily they were able to remove using a. Endoscopic procedure. Cost for all exams, visit, and procedure was fairly high but I knew I would get reimbursed. I submitted my invoice and all necessary documents quickly and with a few weeks I was reimbursed. I decided to get Pet Insurance with my more recent cats and I am glad I have. Healthy Paws is affordable and any claims I have submitted are processed quickly. They even sent an email to check on my cat after. As a cat parent what more can you ask for.

They were very helpful over the phone
They were very helpful over the phone. But when I try doing it online I just get lost and takes me awhile to figure it out. Once it's done then it goes smoothly. It's probably just me but I will keep trying. Not sure of the dates idid them.

Why I Chose Pumpkin
I did a lot of research, and chose Pumpkin for my pet insurance needs. I was able to customize my plan, and I like that 90% of service fees are paid for a covered claim. I also like the preventive coverage, which has already proven to be helpful. I do wish they had an app, but it is easy enough to just take a picture of the invoice and upload. Payment is very quick. I am very happy with my Pumpkin experience thus far.

Have only filed one claim so will be more informative after further claims are made. However, this claim was as expected, with my deductible and co-pay amt for my plan I knew that my reimbursement would be minimal as my total bill was just over $300, so I guess we'll see, if additional claims need to be made. The biggest aggravation with making this claim is that I had to fax the info as the photo I took of the receipt apparently wasn't readable to you? Sure looked readable to me, so required extra time and effort on my part to have to fax it. I hope that will not be a continued problem.

Healthy Paws for peace of mind
Healthy Paws pet insurance has been a godsend. Our puppy recently had emergency surgery and was in the hospital for several nights. When all was said and done, the bill was over $4000. Healthy Paws paid 80% of her bill and our reimbursement was deposited into our account within 7 business days. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Their customer service is amazing and they have followed up several times to see how our puppy is doing. If you’re considering pet insurance, Healthy Paws is the way to go.
