Avoid at all costs

They routinely lost my pet's information and claims, their customer service was abysmal, and they made an already heartbreaking time even more agonizing, stay away from them if you value your pet's life and your sanity.

Check your policy

I got this insurance, thinking it covered everything like human insurance. Boy was I wrong. Nevertheless I called customer service. They informed me of the right policy to get. The first policy didn't cover wellness visits. The second does. It was in the fine print. I got the policy the easy app for quick payment. OH MY LANTA what a good service.

Long time customer

I have been a customer with Healthy Paws for over 7 years now and unfortunately they have gone from excellent to a headache. Claims that were covered in the past now are no longer covered. The constant having to call their customer service and fight has become exhausting. They have turned into the typical insurance company, denying claims and hoping that people won’t call and dispute it. On top of that my rates have doubled from the quote they originally gave me. I understand that they have to keep up with inflation but again the constant aggravation of calling about every claims has just not made it worth the hassle.I used to recommend them to family and friends but not anymore. *edit Since posting I had a rep reach out to me and explain the coverage and benefits. While I still feel exams for specific bloodwork (bloodwork based on his current covered disease ) should be covered I understand now that it is not. Thank you again for reaching out.

BEWARE—Total Rip Off

We’ve had HP for 7 years…never filed a claim. We filed a claim recently for allergy treatment. Rejected initially as a “wellness visit”. Revisited after I complained. One week later premium increased from 250 to 550 a month.
