I must say I am extremely disappointed…
I must say I am extremely disappointed with the service I received. I submitted my SOAP notes and invoice, but unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. It has been over a month now, and I am still facing issues with the claims process. Initially, I provided all the necessary documents as requested, but the they keep asking for additional document without providing clear guidance on what is missing. This lack of clarity has left me feeling frustrated and helpless as I don't know what else to submit. To make matters worse, the customer service representatives have been unhelpful and seem disinterested in resolving my concerns. They repeatedly assure me that they will contact the claim department, but I have yet to see any tangible progress. At this point, I am seriously questioning whether the effort and time I have invested in this process are worth it. The whole experience has been arduous and has left me feeling let down.

PetsBest is the perfect name for this insurance co.
Hi. I love PetsBest! Never have I ever had an issue with a claim being paid. If a claim is taking longer than expected, they always send me an email letting me know they're working on it and if they still need medical records from the vet or any other document needed to finish a claim. When I call on the phone, they are always cheerful and want to help me. I really appreciate that very much. Just as how I came to know PetsBest, from a friend's referral, I highly recommend PetsBest to all my friends and family

Trupanion was amazing to me and my 4 month old German Shepard/Collie Rough mix pup! My sister works as a Vet Tech at an ER and suggested it to me. I got him enrolled at around 3 months so he had 0 pre-existing conditions. Its DEFINTELY best to get them enrolled as young as possible!! Yesterday was a nightmare and I took my pup to the doctor because he was having diarrhea and vomit. (Mind you he had just been for a routine visit 3 days prior and for some booster vaccines) What we thought was a one-time diarrhea episode started getting worse and I took him to the ER. Turns out he had a parasite (Gardia), pineal infection, & ingested a foreign object! I was so overwhelmed when the Vet came back with all of this terrible news. I consider myself to be a really great dog mom and I had addressed his penis discharge with the doctor 3 days prior and she said it was ''normal'' and nothing to worry about. Now the ingested fabric took me by surprise because he doesn't have much access to much in his area but it ended up being one of his rope toys. SO there I was, had taken him in for 1 worry and ended up finding out about ALL these other things & he ended up having to have exploratory surgery THAT day. If it wasnt for TRUPANION I dont know WHAT I would've done. He is on the 85% coverage which costs about $100 a month. I will probably increase it to 90. But Overall Trupanion covered 3k and I covered the rest, which was only about $600 including the exam fee. But they covered all X-Rays, Diagnostic tests, medications and hospital stays as promised with my coverage! I will now advise ANYONE to get this insurance, esp if they have a young animal. I also have it for my kitten. & unlike other insurances. Trupanion paid the vet at check-out. They run your policy # & then let you know what they can cover and by the time you check-out they have paid their portion and all you do is pay yours. It is so easy, simple, and stress free.
