Can't say enough about how pleased we are with Trupanion. Unfortunately, we have a Bernedoodle puppy who has a tendency to eat things he should not and recently he had to have a second surgery (had his first in February of this year) to remove an obstruction. I was worried given the timing between the two surgeries but again the experience was very easy and within 2 business days our claim was paid with a detailed breakdown of what was covered and the reimbursement directly deposited into our account.

I submitted a claim on July 22 and it still hasn't resolved. I'm trying to figure why am I paying for insurance when they don't except the claim. I've declined a claim that I submitted. It was for additional medication and service for another sickness. I'm looking at another company that will cover my cats and give the service instead of the sorry it is taking so long but were working on it!!!! I would like to know who's the individual(s) reviewing the claims!!!

Delayed claim response
I submitted a claim on July 7th and it is August 6th and I have not heard a response on my claim. I'm very disappointed. That's a long time not to hear anything. I can understand a week or two but a month. I want to be nice and I want to be kind but I certainly don't understand the delay. Maybe I picked the wrong insurance company. I'm not sure

They have treated us nicely and answered our questions to a satisfactory level. They are willing to answer your questions as they are open 24/7 which I was really nervous about since I had several questions. I definitely recommend!
