Fetch is great
Fetch is great! The streamlined electronic claim submission and digital app have made the claims process very easy. They send timely texts to let you know where your claim is in processing. So much simpler than how Pet Plan processed years ago. Our almost 9yo JRT mix has been insured since we adopted her. If anyone knows about JRTs you will understand the peace of mind insurance brings. The complaints I've read seem to be from folks who don't understand how claims are processed. Unlike people medical insurances, Fetch starts off considering 80% of the bill (the first 20% is our responsibilty to pay) then the deductible that you chose when you signed up is subtracted. After that, what's left that has been found insurable is paid to you. Direct deposit is the best! When choosing pet insurance deductibles are important to understand. I worked out the numbers for myself and here goes: a 80/20 plan with a $300 deductible will not repay you anything until you've spent over $375 but they will apply the appropriate charges to your deductible for that condition. Then if further treatment is needed for that, your deductible is met and allowable charges will be paid at 80%. With an 80/20 $500 deductible plan, you wouldn't get anything back until your bills submitted for that condition exceed $625. Submit all of your bills to apply to the deductible in case of future claims for the same condition. It's very simple. The math works out! Choose wisely when you sign up and you'll be very happy.

This is the best pet insurance! I took my cat to the vet for a vaccine and a wellness exam. The same day I filed a claim, the claim was reviewed and I was reimbursed. Having insurance for my baby gives me such peace of mind.

Such a stressful event but because of Petsbest, we didn't end up with financial stress on top of it all!
Super easy to upload receipts. It was a large reimbursement so they quickly contacted the vet for the additional that they needed, (likely to verify the charges) and the reimbursement was prompt. I had already recommended petsbest to others but I'm definitely now even more of a proponent of pet insurance! Our baby went from complete paralysis to taking walks in under 3 weeks! Unfortunately in our area, it was quite the stressful feat to find an emergency center that had room for her but finally did and she required emergency back surgery. At least, because if petsbest, we didn't have the financial stress on top of it all.

Horrible service after auto theft.
My husband and I both have policies with Sonnet. His car was stolen on Halloween. Initially we received excellent service, rental car was booked in an hour, but after that, the service has been horrible. He has had to call several times, sometimes waiting almost an hour to talk to someone, he's been waiting for an email from the company to direct him to the next steps for the claim, but has never received an email with directions, he just keeps getting told "it's going to be sent". I hope my car never gets stolen or damaged while I'm with them.
