This company is a scam
This company is a scam. i started out paying 50 bucks a month for my dog when he was 2. He is now 12 with no chronic health problem. This year they raised my rates by 47 dollars. I'm now paying 206 dollars. It's crap. It's predatory. I hope everyone who works here understands the harm they are doing to pet owners.

My dog had to have emergency surgery for a torn ACL and they will not cover it based on a guise that it was preexisting. The torn ACL was from an accident. This is fraud and they had no problem taking my money for three years.

If I could give a million stars...
If I could give a million stars, I would. Trupanion has been nothing but amazing during Lola's sudden hospitalization. It is no hyperbole to say that without our coverage, and their prompt payments, we would have to choose between financial ruin and putting Lola down. We have had to do neither and Lola is now happy and healthy back at home with us.
