Embrace makes it extremely easy to file a claim and they also respond quickly to any questions you have. I had three emergent vet visits this year, and after my deductible was met, they were covered as expected without any back and forth, and I was reimbursed promptly.

I would give that company 0 if i could.

I would give that company 0 if i could. I care about my little one very much and I had lost my previous dog due to terminal incurable illness so i decided to get my new rescue an insurance. After reviewing the policies and many customer reviews( i am very sad that I haven't read the yelp reviews before) I chose the ASPCA insurance. I have to wait already 2 months to be reimbursed for the damn shots. I have a prime preventative plan for my dog. And my claim was considered inelegible for the reimbursement BECAUSE IT EXCEEDS THE LIMIT: ATTN to the logic- i pay 70$ a month for your damn insurance and i will not be reimbursed my maximum for rabies vac which is 25$ BECAUSE I PAID 30$ at vetco. ARE U CRAZY AND HIRE PPL WHO HAVE NO CLUE HOW YOUR POLICY WORKS? The customer service is unhelpful at all, they are very polite etc. but i don't need to be asked how I and my dog are doing, i have friends and family to ask me that. The insurance company has only to proceed the claims the right way and give the reimbursement according to my plan. That's it. If your representative will respond and offer me to call the customer service- I HAVE ALREADY SPENT AN HOUR ON THE LINE WITH YOUR SERVICE AND IT DID NOT HELP THE CASE. Would never recommend anyone to use that company

Smooth process

I filed my first claim with Embrace and the process was very easy. I uploaded the detailed bills from my phone and that was it. There were no long forms to fill out. The reimbursement was deposited in my account in about a week.

TERRIBLE

THIS PET INSURANCE SAID THEY SENT ME AN EMAIL SAYING THEY COULDNT BILL MY CARD. INSTEAD THEY CANCELLED MY INSURANCE. SO I HAD NO COVERAGE. YOU WOULD THINK IF THEY WANTED THEIR MONEY THEY WOULD CALL OR SEND A LETTER IN THE MAIL. MY EMAIL IS NOT ALWAYS THE BEST WAY OF CONTACT. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. BEWARE THIS IS HOW THEY GET MORE MONEY TO START A NEW POLICY.

We understand that there are times a policyholder's credit card used on the policy could be lost, compromised by fraud or that there may be a change in bank accounts, expiration date, etc. When an account goes into suspension due to the fact that we are unable to bill the card on file, we make every effort to keep policyholders up to date and informed about the status of their account. Multiple notices are sent via email, and a Notice of (upcoming) Cancellation is sent out via regular post as well. There is also an automatic grace period that is taken into account. However, if we do not hear back from the primary account holder (prior to the cancellation effective date) the account must be canceled. In order to be equitable to all enrolled pet parents, we cannot make any exceptions to this policy. We're sorry to lose you as a policyholder and hope you and your pets stay well.

I am disappointed so far

I am disappointed so far. USAA recommended Embrace, but I am frustrated by lack of contact, the Wellness Plan, as well as blanket exclusions. The portal for claims works well.

100% worth it!

If it wasn't for Trupanion we would not have our Daisy. After many surgeries and expenses with our previous fur baby, we were terrified of getting another. Trupanion gave us the peace of mind and security to let love into our home and hearts again. Thank you Trupanion. Our hearts and home are whole again.
