Insurance makes a huge difference
Our sweet girl Lily was diagnosed with a large liver mass. Fortunately it appeared to be able to be fully removed by a liver lobectomy. The cost estimate was $8000-$10,000. Without Trupanion we would have had to make the very difficult decision to not have it removed but because we did have Trupanion she had her surgery. Dr Reist and the team at Blue Pearl in Renton were wonderful taking care of Lily and the preauthorization and payment was so easy. Thanks to the Blue Pearl Team and Trupanion Lily is recovering wonderfully at home and I get to spoil her for hopefully many years more.
If you own a pet
If you own a pet, if you love your pet as you love your children, you have insurance on them because they are Also your family. I have looked at All and had a different insurance on my last fur baby who had pancreatic cancer . Thank goodness I did,6500.00 in 9 months. Embrace is better then what I had before. When you become a proud new parent to a fur baby, Get Embrace. Foxie has 15000.00, 100.00 deductable and is covered 90%. It cost less per month then what you would pay for 2 people to eat dinner out! Or 4 people eating fast food.

I received 7 emails, 4 telling me my claim was denied and 3 telling me it was approved for a small fraction of what we paid. It also took 2+ months to receive these confusing responses.

I purchased coverage by mistake and…
I purchased coverage by mistake and have not been able to get in contact with anybody about it for over a week. I do not want to be charged again for this service. Chewy was half the price for better coverage , but when I returned that page to finish signing up after comparing rates, trupanion came up as a pop up on my screen and I mistakenly purchased coverage. Since chewy utilizes aspects of trupanion and lemonade, as stated in their terms, I thought this was why. I do not want coverage through trupanion and no routes to explain this have been met w any customer service.
