Useless policy, false advertising
After much research, I chose ManyPets as the insurance provider for my two cats, happy to have found a policy that covers older cats. My older cat hadn't been to the vet in over a year as she hasn't had any issues. She doesn't travel well so I spared her the trauma of being in the car. When I recently noticed blood in her stool I was really worried that it would be a serious issue so I brought her to the vet. It turned out to be nothing thankfully so I submitted the small claim with confidence that it would be paid out. Boy was I wrong. Unlike the many reviews about a quick turnaround, I waited 11 days for a response. The email from ManyPets states that claims take 22 days currently. They denied the claim on the premise that it’s a preexisting condition because my vet stated she had the issue for about a month, therefore prior to the policy start. In reality, she had soft stool for a time that I guesstimated to a month, not blood in the stool which happened right before I brought her in. As any pet owner knows, cats can have soft stools over the years which resolve on their own and can be caused by many reasons, none of which constitutes a “condition.” Soft stool is not a diagnosis. ManyPets has added this “condition” to her chart therefore she can’t be covered for any kind of soft stool in the future unless she never has it again for the next 18 months. Again this is nearly impossible for a cat eating off-the-shelf cat food that can cause diarrhea due to poor quality control or formula changes. So basically any condition she may have in the future that ManyPets can construe as related to the soft stool won’t be covered. If you’re an honest person who provides your vet with details to help your pet, beware – anything you say can and will be used against you. And if your memory is poor, make sure you have a calendar on hand to prevent having your pet branded with a preexisting condition. I canceled my policy, which had just charged to my card today, only to find out that they won’t refund the charge because you have to wait a month. So I’ve paid for two months of coverage for a healthy cat with one minor event that will never be covered. Stay away from this company unless you have a young pet with zero health history, or are adept at insurance-speak. You’re better off saving for your pet via an interest-bearing account with no headaches. I gave one star for the courteous demeanor of the agent I spoke with today.

Towbz has insurance! Bark Bark Hurray!
I landscaped my buddy’s yard. He was kind enough to purchase one year of pet insurance for my little BObo named Towbee. World’s cutest dog runner up ! He thinks he can scale any dangerous mountains now that he knows he is covered if he has a accident. My buddy sells business insurance and I’m grateful he thought of me and my best friend. My little doggie was attacked by a big mean rot mix. The cost of getting him medicated and stitched up was very expensive. I plan on continuing my pets coverage after this first year.

Good insurance
Good value insurance! They process claims an acceptable amount of time. My friends and I use this for all our pets and have had a good and efficient experience. I would recommend it. 👍

It would be better if the wellness reimbursement was better. It’s preventative care for your pet so I don’t understand why the reimbursement isn’t automatically at 100%. Vaccines and exams should be fully covered.

Better than expectations
After having some substantial Vet expenses with 2 of our Fur Babies(tens of thousands), we decided to take out a policy on our new baby, Lucy Lou. We were looking to soften the expense of another catastrophic event. When Lucy was 6 YO, she was having blood in her urine. She had a persistent UTI and they found a mass in her bladder. The cost of surgery was almost $5,000. Fetch reviewed the case and approved everything. The money was in my account within 10 days. I love Fetch, hope I never need to use them again, but at least I know I'm covered.

After alot of research I am thrilled with FETCH. There are alot of choices and by my experiences I know I made the right one. I would never own another pet, or could I, without insurance. There is no more putting off sick visits hoping they will resolve themselves. It is a piece of mind

BE CAREFUL
If you want to pay Trupanion to protect your pet, make sure of your pet's history, because a minimum exam will NOT be paid with a minimum problem that you have had. My example is with cats. They usually have urine infections, even if they are minimal and if you put a Trupanion insurance on them later, even if it is a small urine infection. When your cat is older and as almost always happens, your cat has kidney problems, he will not pay any of these expenses that you have in this regard. In other words. look with the same magnifying glass to enroll them and spend that monthly money. because they will look with a bigger magnifying glass so as not to pay you. Also, as soon as they received my first medical bills after 3 years they sent a note that my insurance would go from $120 to $160.
