The claim process is easy to follow
The claim process is easy to follow. Communication is beyond great. Website is transparent and simple. I don't like billing but this is the VET world and once you understand what's going there's no second guessing. Embrace has taken it upon themselves to educate their customers in a very simple fashion and I really appreciate their patience and consideration.

Heather was cheerful and eager to help the moment she answered my call. I had a lot of questions about pet insurance and how it works, and Heather was patient, thorough and enthusiastic as she helped me answer them. She also was not 'pushy' when I told her I wanted to cancel for now and rejoin when my dog is a little bit older. She was mindful about educating me of possible reasons I would want to keep my insurance but also very validating in my concerns so far. People like Heather making calling into customer service lines enjoyable. Thank you, Heather for caring about your work and people!!

Wellness seriously under covered
Submitting a claim was easy enough, but wellness reimbursement is abysmally low and honestly probably not worth it. No vet has charged that little for either exams or vaccinations in decades.

Trying out this company for the first time. The claim process was super simple and they sent me a reasonable reimbursement for some procedures I got done for my pup. Will stick to them. 👍👍

There For Me
After shopping various pet insurance companies (including BBB lookups) I chose Spot. SO GLAD I DID! Literally less than 1 month after the wait period my dog needed surgery after an accident and SPOT was there to help me, no questions asked. I would not select any other company.

Bad Puppy = Great Met Life Coverage
New puppy. Everything goes in the mouth - despite being crated and watched like a hawk. Well, something hurt her delicate little GI tract and she had fluids coming out of both ends (when she wasn’t eating grass to stop tummy ache). An emergency hospital visit and 4 days later the vet bills were over $5,000! Thank goodness I had MetLife insurance! Once I submitted a claim on line and uploaded documents (a breeze) they paid nearly all of my bills, allowing me to eat again. I’ve had other pet insurance over the years, and MetLife far exceeds my experiences with the previous companies.

CO pay AND deductible.
Not only do you have a $400 deductible but they charge you 20% copay as well on the same claim. My claim had two visits and because the 2nd visit was after the policy renewal, they charged me another $400 deductible. An $1800 claim payed me $650

My experience was great
My experience was great. The two people whom I spoke with were nice and very informed. I had had Trupanion coverage for my dog that had recently passed away. I was offered condolences for his passing and congratulations on my new puppy. The enrollment was easy and well-handled. I have had nothing but good experiences with Trupanion. They truly saved my previous dog's life for 18 months by covering his renal failure costs. He had a happy 18 month remission after his first failure, and I could not have afforded his initial treatment without Trupanion. Thank you!!
