Kept promises
My cat had a medical problem 9 months ago then the same issue this week. Trupanion kept it's promise about only applying the deductible once per diagnosis. I've had 3 vet visits in 3 days and each time claims were processed within minutes and I only had to pay the vet my share.

Healthy Paws a must for pet owners!
The first time i decided to get pet insurance was when I rescued my best friend Semper Fi. He is now almost 5 years old and unfortunately has had a bunch of health problems, including an autoimmune disease. He not only sees his Vet but also a few different specialists Vets. Thank God that we decided to get pet insurance and Healthy Paws was a great deal and offered more than a lot of other companies. Healthy Paws has been there for us over the past few years. They make it simple to file a claim. To be honest I don't know what we would of done, and hate to think about it, if we didn't have Healthy Paws on our side. Semper Fi has racked up literally thousands of dollars in Vet bills. I thank Healthy Paws for being there and taking care of Semper Fi's medical bills. We highly recommend Healthy Paws to anyone who has a pet that they love, and want to continue loving.

Please do whats right for your pet. HP is a SCAM!
I've been with Healthy Paws for 7 years! Since then I've only made 2 claims which borh were denied! I had to issue a dispute for them to reconsider which they only decide to approve one! My Premium jumped 335% starting at $36/month to $160/month!!! Similar to most of the responses here. It appears that HP goal is to increase your deductible to $1,000, putting you in that range so none of your claims will be approved. Unless your pet is on it's death bed!!! If you are considering this insurance for your Pet. Please take this review into consideration! I'm almost certain anyone posting a 5 star review are Bots! Please be warned! If you are considering HP to provide peace of mind for your pet. Please look elsewhere. At the end of the day your claims will be denied!!!

Healthy Paws is hands down one of the best pet insurance companies out there. They pay claims very quickly. There were times when i submitted a claim at 7pm and had it approved by 11am the next day. I would not dream of owning a dog or cat without having insurance.

Terrible
Would not recommend….okay good thing I can say is the claims they do pay they pay quickly. Their rates increase significantly EVERY year, their website/system is always down or updating but nothing ever improves. Their website is terrible. My dog went fore a wellness visit, was given medicine for an issue but because of this they didn’t pay out her wellness coverage. So what am I paying for???

Excellent support and coverage
We’ve been covered by Trupanion for five years. My Golden Retriever, Gabriel was my PTSD service dog. He died two days ago from a rapidly growing brain tumor. For the last month we experienced very large Veterinary expenses approaching $10,000. Trupanion came to our rescue and will be reimbursing us a large portion of these expenses. We recommend you select Trupanion as soon as you purchase your pet and before you take your pet to their first Veterinary visit to insure you get the entire protections from Trupanion. The Trupanion support team was very supportive, friendly and helpful during this unfortunate time with Gabriel. I highly recommend Trupanion.
