I decided to get this insurance because…
I decided to get this insurance because I have two cats that were feral. You never know what issues they could have. My one cat I've taken to emergency vet five times. Only one time was a uti and another a fever. Luckily nothing major. This insurance company is so easy to deal with and they are so on top of eveything. I've suggested them to my family and friends.

Peace of Mind
When an unexpected emergency came up with my cat, I immediately rushed her for emergency care. I have had pet insurance for awhile now but this was my first claim, so I was a bit nervous not knowing what to expect. The claim form was easy to complete and the entire process was completed in a timely manner. ASPCA kept me informed along the way and now I have peace of mind for any unexpected pet emergency.

Make sure to include the rider if you can
I highly recommend any type of pet insurance you can afford for your furry family member. Hopefully, you'll never need to access it, but when/if you do, you'll never regret having a policy. I've been with Trupanion for over 10 years and now my Miss Daisy is around 14 years old (shelter mutt) and is needing more care. The one additional recommendation I have is to include the rider for additional services like acupuncture, and other therapies that are not included in the main policy. I did not, and wish I had done so. I would have been happy to pay the additional premium knowing that Miss Daisy was covered. I believe Trupanion is doing all they can to support Miss Daisy's needs now so I wanted to thank Trupanion, and my veterinarian, for providing her the best quality of life in her senior years.
