Ongoing experience with Trupanion
The best decision I made after purchasing my dog was to choose Trupanion as his health insurance provider. After searching through other companies, they were recommended to me and they have been a blessing. He has received superior care because I knew it was affordable due to his Trupanion insurance.

Pre-existing conditions and unlimited coverage
This is one of the few companies that will both cover a pre-existing condition if it is clear for 12 months and also has an option for unlimited coverage. They are also rated very good by the WSJ or Forbes (I don't remember which). Additionally, they respond to emails very quickly with thorough, easy to understand answers. However, I have not needed to submit any claims yet.

I Dislike the fact that your quote was $120.16 per month gst inc., and then when purchasing it went up to $127+. It was not more than 5 minutes between the quote and the purchase. So I doubt the cost raised in that time. A bit scammy for a big insurance agency. Terence Martin

Since they block and ban people who leave bad reviews. There is probably alot of people that is or will be getting ahold of California Insurance License Board to get Pets Best License revoked. I've notified Attorney Generals Office in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, California and Missouri. Pets Best stop your BS and get your heads out of your A** and unblock and unban people who leave negative reviews. There are going to be negative reviews about businesses. If you don't like negative reviews treat people right or don't be in business. I seen a post someone wrote about Pets Best. They wrote Pets Best is now Pets Worst.

The reasons we chose Sonnet Insurance
The most difficult part of exploring the "Sonnet" option for insurance was actually being able to speak to someone. Since we are seniors, we are less comfortable with online communications and needed to have contact with a human to ask a few questions. That took some time for sure but once we got through to Karan, the customer service was outstanding. He was thoroughly professional, knowledgeable and courteous and was able to answer all of the concerns we had about past claims and the impact on our Sonnet quotation. He provided us with an e-mail follow-up to further explain the process for us to follow and his contact information, were we to experience any further questions or difficulties. We are so happy that we read about Sonnet CEO Rowan Saunders in the Globe & Mail's "Best of" Business magazine and decided to pursue our home insurance with Sonnet. Because of the excellent customer service and quotation, we are now Sonnet clients.

Great & Fast response with email communication
Fast response with email communication and great phone communication. Staff very friendly and clarified information like I thought when I read won't cover hip displaysia for over 6 years old, they actually meant won't cover if enrolling over 6 yrs- that my 3 yr old would get it covered if she gets the condition when older.
