Horribly Long Delay for Reimbursement
Horrible! If you do not have pet insurance yet, I’d research before you go with Trupanion. It took me a month to get my reimbursement - after having to contact Trupanion 5x to get it. I kept getting passed off to various customer service reps and consistently bounced around. Everyone pointing fingers as to why it took so long. If I could give zero stars I would.

We just got a puppy

Customer Service
Customer Service Alison Levi was the first person to pick up the phone when I called to compare trupanion to other pet insurance companies. She was kind, listened intently, answered all of my questions, and when I called to follow up the next week she was just as wonderful as before. She really made the whole process easy and even when I needed additional clarification she was so nice and broke everything down for me. The coverage plan I have is perfect for my new kitten and I know that of something happens I can breathe a little easier. There’s also an app which is great and I feel better knowing my new kitten is covered.
