The point of insurance is to cover and…
The point of insurance is to cover and assist with the unexpected. Well, our dog tore his ACL 5 months and 24 days into having a policy out. He unexpectedly contracted this injury and without hesitation this company chose not to pay a dime even after we appealed. The whole reason to get coverage was a for these instances and we were left high and dry without help. Please, do not do business here.

Not worth it even though customer service folks were nice
The short story: $556 insurance: $765 charges: $205 reimbursement. (and my insurance goes up to $628 in a few days which was news that was not emailed to me and was buried in the website.) $1,116 expended. With insurance. Without insurance: $765. I understand that insurance is for the what-if situations and you often don't get back what you pay in premiums. But I paid roughly $880 for a what-if situation (surgery) and was reimbursed for less than ONE FOURTH. The long story: *Bill for hot spots: $117 - not covered because the dog had previously had hot spots. (That amount is not figured in my calculations.) *Bill for bordatella. Not reimbursed -- not considered preventative care $30 charge; ($25 allowed amount) *Bill for $696 for surgery -- removing a weird tumor on dog's leg. Allowed amount: $180 *Bill for pre-op blood test -- $`171. Not covered because of on-going treatment. Huh? The growth shows up, and this is considered on-going treatment, though it's preparation for the surgery? *Bill for wellness exam: $67 Reimbursement: $25. I don't think I'll renew.

It's so easy to submit claims
It's so easy to submit claims. They are ethical and straight-forward. I have rarely had claims denied, and all decisions were fair.
