Furkin has better coverage
Iâve had pet insurance with another company for another dog that we had. Furkin has higher coverage so we went with them for our new puppy. The claim was east to do, they followed up with our vet as there was missing information. From date of vet service to pay out was less than a week. Amazing service. Thank you.

Beloved Drew
Our beloved Drew was diagnosed with cancer last year. It was totally out of the blue & devastating. We began treatment with radiation, chemo & an array of medications. We kept him happy & healthy for 5 months...until the treatment stopped working & the cancer progressed. Through it all, our insurance was a godsend. The treatment was very costly, but petplan covered 70% of the costs. Besides that, they made processing our claims & getting paid so easy. They made a horrible situation just a bit easier financially. I feel for people with sick pets & no insurance. The decisions you are forced to make are unthinkable. I would suggest to anyone with pets, get petplan insurance. Hopefully you'll never need it, but if you do, it will be a blessing. It was for us.❤️

Best Pet Insurance
We have two dogs that have both been insured with Embrace for over 10 years. One of our dogs has had multiple surgeries and other health problems and having insurance through embrace has made our lives so much easier. Not only do we not have to worry about getting reimbursed for covered expenses, but the claim submission process also couldn't be more straightforward. At this point, I would always get Embrace insurance for any of my furry kids!

DO NOT USE THIS INSURANCE COMPANY
If I could give ZERO stars I would. Very disappointed in this company and how they deal with their clients. I bought a new vehicle in Feb 2023. Let Sonnet know I no longer was the owner of my old vehicle - so much so that I had Nissan provide them with a letter stating that I no longer had that vehicle. March 2023 a payment for the vehicle I no longer own was taken from my account. I contacted them and they assured me this would not happen again - APRIL 2023... AGAIN - they took another payment for a vehicle that I am not the owner of,out of my account. I had trouble trying to contact anyone at Sonnet and when I did the rep continued to say it is their policy to take those payments and spread them out over 12 months to my account and not refund me the money that they took out without authorization. I asked to speak to a manager and the rep continued to tell reiterate what he was saying and told me someone would contact me within 1-2 days but to be prepared I will hear the same thing. It is WRONG of them to take money out of my account for a vehicle I do not even own. It is WRONG of them to not provide a REFUND for the money they debited without AUTHORIZATION. I will be looking for another insurance company and urge anyone I know to do the same. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed in their lack of accountability and unprofessionalism. I will also be contacting the Alberta Insurance Ombudsman.
