Absolutely horrible
Absolutely horrible. They will happily take your premiums, but pay little or nothing. They require every record of every sneeze and bite of kibble your pet has ever had. And when you send it, they will lose what you sent, close the claim without paying a penny and say nothing. When you re-file, they will lose your records and only if you call repeatedly will they magically find your information. After that they will ask for records from before your pet was born. If you’re persistent, and you’re lucky, they might give you back $50 on a $700 claim after you pester them for several months and threaten legal action.

I had to send the paid bill twice, very frustrating and was also denied another time. I'm paying over 50 dollars a month on dog insurance, I'll be shopping for cheaper insurance.

It took awhile and too many phone calls, but everything came out okay. Your systems apparently crashed and didn't bill my credit card, then it billed me three times, then it took four calls to get a credit back to my card.

Great customer experience
Pumpkin processed my claim that I submitted from an animal emergency hospital within a few days. The process is easy because you can upload your receipts and the medical record and do it all electronically. Just have your vet email you the paid bill and the medical records and that makes it a lot easier. The process was very smooth and quick.
