Healthy paws raises premium every time they get the chance. My autopay failed so they canceled my account after 8 years of being a customer. Claimed they sent certified mailed to be signed for but it was sent to a different address so not sure how I signed for it. Use a better company like pets best! Update: replying to their comment, they claim emails and letters were sent but searched through my inbox and nothing was there. Person on the phone couldn’t find any proof of anything being sent besides certified mail but not to me. Still use anyone but them

Difficult recieving reimbursement and processing claims
I got this pet insurance with our 4 th dog as the previous one had 2 back to back knee surgeries and was worried about that happening again with this dog. Unfortunately my current dog was diagnosed with MEgaesophagus at 10 months old. My dogs condition is difficult he requires numerous medications and has had 4 episodes of aspiration pneumonia in the last 2 years. This is the unfortunate medical pattern with this dog and diagnosis. When I submitted my claims for the aspiration pneumonia episodes, the deductible was deducted for episodes of vet visits and treatment for the condition. When I called Trupanion the rep told me that this happen because the pneumonia could be caused by something else. Also was told that the"bot" the reviewed the claim came to this decision...NOT a person!!!!!! With a diagnosis of Megaesophagus , aspiration pneumonia will occur and treatments for the condition center around prevention and treatment of this. Any vet medical information states this!!!!! I was told that I have to reach out to my vet and obtain more information for them and I have to file more paperwork for "a review". In one year I spent over $1,400 on vet bills due to ME and aspiration pneumonia. And @$500.00 on medications. Trupanion gave me back a few hundreds dollars and some of these claims are still "under their review process"!!!! I have spent about $1,000 in premiums for one year. They even increase my rate after one year almost 12%. I would NOT use them again and unfortunately I am stuck with them!

ManyPets makes it easy to submit claims and they are reviewed very quickly. Payment is directly deposited to my bank account. Whenever I have a question, customer service is impressive. Reps are very friendly and helpful. I have had three Boxers but this is the first time I had pet insurance and so glad I chose ManyPets. I recommend them to everyone who loves their pets.
