Great Pet Insurance
Honestly, when going to deal with an insurance company, you expect to have a crap time. But I'd be lying if I said I wasn't surprised and pleased each time I've had to call them. They've definitely been the most helpful customer service team I've had to deal with, and always help me get exactly what I need when setting up my policies. They also give me all of the options up front and adjust if I decide to change my mind mid-setup. Honestly, have been super pleased with them and will keep using them to keep our fur babies extra cared for.

Claim Closed Without Explanation – Reopened Claim but Told It’s “Just Closed, Not Denied”
FPI30000114468 My claim was closed without a clear explanation. When I reopened it, FIGO said it cannot be appealed or processed because it is “just closed, not denied.” They then asked my veterinarian to contact them to explain a credit shown on the receipt, even though the receipt already includes full vet information and FIGO has my vet on file. This is unacceptable. I pay insurance premiums. It is FIGO’s adjuster’s responsibility to verify invoices directly with the vet, not to close claims and push the work onto the customer or the veterinary clinic. Closing a claim without verification, refusing to reopen it, and then telling the customer to ask the vet to call you is irresponsible and lazy claim handling. If you actually need reimbursement when your pet is sick, be very careful with FIGO.

I will admit
I will admit, when I was offered the thirty-day free trial from my vet, I was very skeptical, but I did it. And I am so glad I did. My puppy had an emergency, and the bill was over three thousand dollars, and I only had to pay six hundred of it. I couldn't ask for an easier experience with an insurance company than I got with you. I am so grateful, and I will keep you for as long as the dog is alive.

So many hidden t&cs be careful!
So many hidden t&cs be careful!! not worth the money you’re saving and they ring and fight with your trusted vet when you try claim. Remember if it’s too good to be true it usually is.

Complete waste of money
Complete waste of money, maybe a total scam. I started my policy when my cat was 4.5 months old and canceled it after a year because he was recently diagnosed with IBD and embrace won't cover ANYTHING digestive related all because my little kitten had one instance of vomiting prior to my policy start date. He could have vomited for any reason, ie eating plants or food he's not supposed to, or eating too quickly, but because it was on his medical record embrace said they would not cover anything digestion related. So if his IBD turns into pancreatitis, lymphoma, or even if he just needs steroids to manage it, nothing would ever be covered. I'm furious. Embrace did not cover any of the numerous fecal, blood, checkups, emergency visits, vaccines, and ultrasound tests throughout my year of having it. Embrace doesn't do anything but take your money. Apparently AKC covers preexisting conditions so I'm switching over to them. On top of that, it was really hard to cancel because two of their listed phone numbers to call would not go through. I had to call the number to BUY a policy and ask them to transfer me to cancel. Total scam.
