I'm switching to a better insurance
I took my cat into vet and had a bill for 600$ and most of it they said they would cover and then when I got my reimbursement they only gave me around 130$ with no optio. To discuss the decision of that after . I was highly disappointed

Customer Service is great. Coverage seems pretty good. Would give 5 stars but my monthly rate went up $25 this year. Ouch. Still worth it though for peace of mind. I have the option to raise my deductible for a lower monthly rate, but once I raise it I cannot lower it :/

Extremely Disappointed with Trupanion Pet Insurance.
As a pet owner, I am deeply disappointed with my experience with Trupanion pet insurance. After opening an account with them as a Redemption Paws partner, where I adopted my rescue from, I expected a reliable and efficient insurance service. However, my experience has been nothing short of terrible. First and foremost, the lack of follow-up and answers regarding my claims was completely unacceptable. I submitted two claims and waited for over two months without receiving any reimbursement or even a clear response on the status of my claims. This level of unresponsiveness is highly frustrating and shows a lack of professionalism on Trupanion's part. Furthermore, the ambiguity surrounding whether or not I would receive reimbursement only added to my frustration. As a pet owner, it is crucial to have peace of mind knowing that my pet's medical expenses will be covered. Unfortunately, Trupanion failed to provide me with that reassurance. Based on my personal experience, I strongly advise pet owners to look elsewhere for pet insurance. Trupanion's lack of communication, delayed reimbursements, and overall poor customer service have left me feeling deceived and let down. It is essential to find an insurance provider that values their customers and provides timely and transparent support. Trupanion is not a reliable pet insurance option. I regret choosing them as my insurance provider and urge others to avoid the frustration and disappointment I have experienced.
