Thank you Trupanion
I had to take my dog Tuni to the ER 2 nights ago because she seemed to be in pain and it was not clear why. The whole process was scary. She appears to have a back issue with a vertebral disc problem. We needed x-rays and bloodwork and pain meds. The bill was close to $1600. The ER was able to direct bill Trupanion and this was a huge relief. They covered over $1000 towards the bill right at the time. My baby will need follow up but I am feeling less stressed because of having Trupanion.

I wish I read reviews before signing up…
I wish I read reviews before signing up with Figo through Costco (I will be submitting this review through Costco customer service directly, they need to drop Figo ASAP). You'll be lucky to get anything paid out. My pup has had a rough few months with a sudden illness, hospital stay, and a number of follow-up visits and medications. Figo finds ANY unrelated reason to not pay out your claim. I am considering hiring an attorney to go after them at this point. Absolutely and total disaster of a company.

Policy designed to be misleading and avoid covering many expenses. Why would I pay this premium if expensive medically necessary dental procedures aren’t covered? Waste of money, do not use this company.
