Embrace is an exceptional site for pet insurance. Their services are relatively inexpensive and their answer and payment of claims is exceptional.

Excellent customer service
Shannon explained the claim process so clearly to me and helped me set up an account. And she told me how to use the app! She was very kind and helpful!

Excellent coverage, pricing and claims process
I've been with Healthy Paws for approximately 5 years for one dog. Recently added a second dog. Pricing and coverage is excellent and affords us peace of mind. I've had to file a few claims and I am very much impressed with the claims process. It is extremely efficient and easy. I highly recommend Healthy Paws.

Complete scam and you are left heartbroken
Complete scam, they will find any reason to make anything that comes up for your dog a preexisting condition. My vet was in shock by their conclusion to our case and even wrote notes and letters to them that they said would help. They didn't and continued to run me in circles around the company to keep my hopes up that they would help. I see now that was a tactic to continue to collect money from me. I had such an awful experience I am thinking of leaving USAA for my car insurance as well.

Pets Best really is the best!
Pets Best has taken really good care of my pup. They communicate well, especially if they are behind on processing claims. They have made caring for a dog with an autoimmune condition easier than it would be without insurance! So very thankful for them.

Used to be good, no more!
Embrace has been pretty decent with their turnaround times for claims in the last year. But after renewing my policy this year, they have been refusing to process any new claims. They keep asking for more medical records from vet visits despite having provided them with ALL the records from ALL past visits. What's most puzzling is why they need records from 2022 again for vet visits from 2023? They already have those records from the 2022 claims. This just seems like a lazy excuse to not honor their end of the insurance contract. It appears that the quality of the "claims adjusters" has dramatically declined. A silver lining is that the customer representatives are still nice, but it takes an eternity to get hold of one! I'll update this review if anything changes, but after over 2 months of going back and forth over the claims, I don't have much hope from this company.

Healthy Paws — Peace of mind!
Healthy Paws has insured our dog Ruby for over 4 years. We were certainly glad to have the coverage when we found out that Ruby had suffered trauma to a tooth and it had to be removed. The claim was processed quickly and exactly to the terms of her coverage. So glad we choose Healthy Paws to cover our pup! Great company to deal with — premiums are reasonable and claims filing couldn’t be easier. Thank you Healthy Paws!
