They were great this time

They were great this time, but last time it took forever. Before that they were always wonderful. Maybe growing pains?

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Amanda Mello

Thank you Amanda Mello for making it easier to decide on which plan I needed for Cheech. You are the reason I came back to Fetch for my new puppy. Talking with you is so easy & insightful. Again, thank you for everything you do. I will absolutely recommend Fetch to my family, friends, & coworkers who are in search of pet insurance. You, by far, exceeded your role as Pet Advisor!!

Not impressed so far

You don’t reply- the policy isn’t clear. I don’t feel like anything will be honoured- I’ll give it a year- but so far not impressed and starting to believe I made a bad choice.

Don't waste your money

I purchased insurance for my dog which I recently adopted from a woman who was being stationed overseas and wouldn't be able to take the dog with her. I took my dog to the vet ro get seen because I noticed that he kept licking his paws a lot. Although I tried several different over the counter remedies, keeping his paws clean, etc... the problem continued and I was worried. The vet determined that it was allergies. Treatment came out to almost 200 dollars. After submitting the claim, ASPCA rejected it because they claimed it was not within the type of policy I am paying for, however, it is because I purchased the illness and accident policy so that did fall within the benefits. I called to question their rejection of my claim and customer service said that they needed 6 months of medical records (not even a person's insurance requires that), I explained that I only had maybe 3 months because I got the dog in March of 2024, this claim was made in June. I submitted all the documents I have and haven't received any update yet. So I'm thinking that having pet insurance at least w this company is not worth it. My dog is healthy and I'm just throwing money away on this company since I am giving them money for nothing and paying the full vet bill myself. I wouldn't recommend this ins.

Puppy Wellness claim, 5 weeks and counting

Two claims submitted for a 3mo old puppy…now almost 5mo old puppy and they still have not paid the claim. Poor communication. I am thinking that people may have a better experience based on individual states. Looking to switch companies before this guy gets older.

THE BEST INSURANCE

I’ve tried other insurance before I came across MetLife Pet Life. I couldn’t be more happier choosing them. Their claim process is very easy. They are available when you call. They explain everything so you can understand they also send updates frequently via email and best of all they direct deposit your refund fairly quickly. I will highly recommend them to anyone.

Inconsiderate

ASPCA did not cover any of my dog's health visits, both common preventative needs and acute issues. I tried to discuss this with several people that work for the company, they were inflexible and unwilling to help. The manager even hinted that the insurance will not cover your pet's common needs. Please do not use this insurance if you want your basic needs of your pet covered.

False advertising

False advertising. Thankfully (knock on wood) in 6 years I have never had to file a claim, however, their practice of inexplicably raising fees has exceeded my allowable limit. 125% increase over 6 years for a healthy mixed breed less than 20 lbs. That's ridiculous. I spoke to my vet and no way has vet fees or test fees increased by this much in my area. Talking to customer service offered no explanation backed by any actual data. They claim to not "increase price based on dog age" however, I can search a quote for the age I registered my dog and its less than I'm paying now. This is a practice other insurance companies follow, however Trupanion specifically states they don't do this. Also there is zero benefit to being a loyal customer. Unfortunately I have to switch to another insurance company, I just wish I knew this when my dog was young
