So far so good. Application process was very easy and I received my policy within 5 days. I've looked over the policy and seems pretty straight forward. There was a mix up somehow when I applied and my husbands name was used, I asked to have that fixed but my policy still came through with his name. As long as this does not cause me any issues, I'm okay with that. I am the person who takes dog to vet, etc.

The best decision that I made was to get a Nationwide Pet Insurance policy for my 11 week old Bichon Poodle, Beejay, in 2008. Very sadly, Beejay passed away on 4/18/2023, just shy of his 15th birthday in May. Having a Nationwide Pet Insurance policy, throughout his life, made it possible for me to provide him with “thee” best Veterinarian medical care available including Veterinary Specialist which gave me peace of mind. Switched to Pets Best and love it
I switched to Pets Best after a few years with a different provider. Basically they provided greater cover (twice the limit and preventative care), a lower deductible and a lower premium. This combined with a fair claim process makes Pets Best the winner.
